DaVonte, also known as Vonte’, is a professional Wedding & Lifestyle Photographer based in Raleigh, NC. He specializes in documentary style photography while still providing an elegant & editorial approach to timeless images. He is a 2-time HBCU graduate, Elizabeth City State and North Carolina Central University, lover of sports & a huge collector of sneakers.

From being introduced to photography early on as a kid, he remembers the “instant” Polaroid cameras and the fascination that came along with it. His baby scrapbook being filled with polaroids of people to be remembered & moments that could never be re-created has held a place in his heart from childhood up until this very day. That feeling of looking at a photo, having a flashback to that exact point in time and it bringing emotions to you is what led him to picking up a camera. Providing the luxury of allowing others to live in the moment worry-free, knowing that they will have perfectly captured and timeless images to look back on.

What started as a hobby, has now turned into a career which allows him to capture the most authentic moments, emotions and occasions of those who are drawn to his style. While understanding that posed images are important, it is more often the candid moments bring about the most emotion and feeling.
